Inspired by Neave
2020-2022

Graduating highschool in 2020 was rough. I didn't know what I wanted to go to school for and I just spent half of my grade 12 year online. So, logically, I decided to start a business selling doodle art prints. Doodle art is a fun and flexable style where you could either go abstract or create an image out of the doodles. These doodles didn't have much meaning other than being obectively cool, like skulls, skateboards, Walkmans, and other teenaged boy things. Seeing the potential, I thought "what if there WAS a meaning?" and the Inspired by Neave collection was born. I sought to create portraits of musicians using tiny doodles, each representing some part of that person's history. At that point I was into rap and rock music, so I started there. I learned how to build a website, advertise, and sell, leading to $600 dollars in revenue in the first three months and a podcast mention. I also did some renaissance sculptures and photography illustrations.

Character Concepts
2022-2025

I love Batman, especially The Animated Series. The dark red sky, the music, the dramatic lighting - it was a richer world than our own. I didn't think it could ever be brought to life until I saw The Batman directed by Matt Reeves and shot by Greig Fraser. I watched it 3 times in theatres. I hadn't ever watched any film more than once in theatres before. I wanted more, but it was the only film I could find that itched that spot in my brain. Inspired, I turned to myself to create what I needed. In the collection below, I took some of Batman's most iconic villians and brought them to life in the world Reeves created (along with other, unrelated designs). Showcased through film magazine styled covers, this collection had attracted thousands of views to my socials and even caught the eyes of some large names in the industry. I dreamt of seeing my work brought to the big screen, but have decided to focus on some traditional works for now.

The Greeks and Romans
2025 - Current

In the Inspired by Neave era, I was introduced to music as an art form, not just entertainment. In recent years I studied concept art, I learned about film structure and story telling through pacing, lighting, composition, and audio. Unintentionally, the path thus far has taught me a lot about art in different forms and has even helped me learn more about myself. For instance, I love learning and teaching, I love art and colour, I love feeling and emotion, I love psychology and philosophy, and when I thought that there was no connection between them all, I recalled the Ancient Greeks and Romans. In those times, this was all connected, and learning was done through art and storytelling.

This new chapter of my life focuses on the wonderful story telling of classical paintings, the pursuit of knowledge & understanding, and the combination of the two. In other words, I will be mixing my painting, writing, and philosphical thinking to created educational and moving pieces (hopefully ha). Projects I am currently working on include: The Overthinking Audio Book, Curse of the Bullfighter, and The Power of Man. I also have some random paintings I am working on, perhaps they will take on more meaning throughout.
